Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Specs are quiet and have excellent ride compliance despite being fiendishly sticky and providing instant turn-in. That is all.

Fresh Z2*s? I’m running a used set that’s less than a year old but they’re noisy and harsh compared to the 4-y/o NeoGens I rocked before them. That said, the Z2* grip like motherf***er and can only be outdone by the twice-as-fast/half-as-long RE-71Rs.

Brandy-new. Also, 205/50-15s, so pretty tall sidewall. Still, the change over form the Toyo Garit KX winters was surprising. The wheel and tire combo is about 4lb lighter too... Still, these things ride better than any performance tire I’ve had before. I think the RE050s may have been quieter, but they definitely didn't ride as well (not to mention 12lb heavier wheel and tire and 40-profile)
